Community Service Awards 2018!

Do you know of an individual or group that have given extraordinary community service?

Why not nominate them for the 2018 Shire of Wongan-Ballidu Community Service Awards!

There are four awards that you can nominate for.

1. Citizen of the Year Award 2018

A suitable nominee for the Citizen of the Year Award is any person who has contributed outstanding service within the Shire. Length of service within the Shire. Length of service will be seen as less important then quality of service.

2. Young Citizen Award 2018

A suitable nominee for Young Citizen Award in any person who is under 36 years of age at the close of nominations, who has contributed outstanding service within the Shire. Length of service will be seen as less important than quality of service.

3. Community Achievement of the Year Award 2018

The Community Event of the Year Award is presented to the person or group who has staged the most outstanding Community Event during the year.

4. Community Group of the Year Award

The Community Group of the Year Award is presented to the group who has made the most outstanding contribution during the year.

In order to maintain the service of these Australia Day Awards and to avoid any embarrassment to nominees or their families, it is essential that the nomination and selection process be carried out in complete confidentiality.
