The Wongan Hills Community Resource Centre (CRC) is a non-profit organisation managed by the Shire of Wongan - Ballidu. A Manager of Community Services, Team Leader, Customer Service Officer,  two Trainees and part time Librarian are employed to run the CRC day-to-day with help from volunteers.

The Wongan Hills CRC is part of the Community Resource Network of 109 CRC's located in small rural and regional communities in Western Australia and supported by the Department of Regional Development ​and the Royalties for Regions program.

Wongan Hills is located 190km north east of Perth, Western Australia in the Shire of Wongan-Ballidu. The other towns within the shire are  Ballidu, Burakin, Cadoux and Kondut. The name Wongan Hills translates from the Aboriginal word "Katta" or "Whispering Hills", referring to the wind whispering through the greenstone laterite hills which rise just north-west of the town site​.
