Seniors Week 2017 is a special time of celebration for Seniors within Western Australia. Seniors Week consists of activities and events across multiple locations which open up opportunities for involvement and acknowledgment of the seniors within local communities. During seniors week we have the opportunity to show our appreciation for their valued contribution within society.

On Friday 3rd of November, the Wongan Hills Community Resource Centre held a High Tea in appreciation of our local senior citizens. With tea, coffee and food galore, we gathered, communed and enjoyed the entertainment. Gary Lynn, had the guests dancing and singing along as he sung tributes to "Frank Sinatra" and "Friends".

It was a lovely morning of laughter and music, with everyone walking away in smiles.

Special thanks to Deb Metcalf, Lorraine Lobo, Heydi Maryke-de Wall, Vicki Buscombe and Gail Nicholson who helped out both in the lead up and on the day.
